Welcome to Now Yoga! We look forward to seeing you in class. Please review the following prior to your first visit.
Now Yoga is an inclusive community, welcoming of all students regardless of their level of fitness or prior experience. If you are new to our studio, any member of our staff would be glad to advise on an appropriate class or teacher to suit your needs.
We encourage students to book classes online ahead of time via the Mindbody app, though walk-ins are welcome. Please arrive at least 5 minutes before class and our staff will be happy to assist you with signing in and renting a mat, if needed. Should you need to cancel a reservation, please do so at least one hour prior to the start of class.
Please note the expiration on your class purchase; classes are nonrefundable and nontransferable.
Withdrawal from any workshop, training, or series must be made with at least 48 hours notice in order to receive a partial refund, subject to a 10% processing fee.
Rental mats (Rumi X) are available to rent for $2 cash (preferred) or $3 with credit card.
We offer mat storage to non-members for a fee of $10 per month or $100 per year. Mat storage is included with any 6- or 12-month membership or 50-class card.
The practice room door will be closed at the start of class; latecomers will be welcomed within the first 10 minutes of class. Beyond this point, late students will be invited to register for the next available class.
Please take all belongings into the practice room with you. Now Yoga may not be held responsible for lost or stolen belongings.
Practice rooms are mobile-free zones. Phones and smartwatches must be silenced completely and stored to the side with personal belongings.
There is no food or beverage (other than water in a tightly sealed container) permitted in the practice rooms during class.
Now Yoga is open to all and does not discriminate against any teacher, staff member, or student based on race, color, religion/creed, gender, gender expression, age, national origin/ancestry, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status in any of its activities or operations. Now Yoga commits to maintaining an environment free of harassment on the basis of any of these grounds.
Now Yoga teachers are trained in administering safe and professional hands-on adjustments for the purpose of helping students clarify their alignment and/or to enhance their experience of a particular posture. While this can be an effective tool for teaching, participation in receiving hands-on assistance is not required and our teachers will respect any student’s preference to receive verbal cues only. Students are encouraged to inform their teacher of any injuries that may require special attention.
